Ribboned badge showing the American flag of 1864, with Our Union Now and Forever printed on it. Worn by Union loyalists in Towson after April 29, 1864 when the Stars and Stripes were raised once again over the Odd Fellows Hall on York Road. Prior to this, the State flag of the Southern sympathizers had been hoisted in defiance over Ady's Hotel, which was later the Towson Hotel. This details the tense and dangerous situation that prevailed in Towson in April, 1861.

This Maryland state's rights ribbon badge was worn by the Southern-sympathizing members of the Baltimore County Horse Guards. The badge reads 'Old Maryland Line' and 'Death Before Dishonor'. It includes the Maryland State seal and two crossed Confederate flags tied together by a rattlesnake.

Patrick Wolford is shown holding several loaves of French bread in his Wolford's European Bakeries at 3 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson. Wolford later moved to 31 West Chesapeake, and took over the double premises formerly used by Newman's, a postage stamp dealer and auctioneer, and earlier, by Towson Post Office.

The distinctive entranceway (right middle distance) of the old Baltimore Stadium, at 33rd Street, is visible in this photo taken at a Navy-Notre Dame game. The stadium was built in 1922. Its site became that of Memorial Stadium, East 33rd Street, built in 1954, after the old stadium had burned in 1944.
