The building is located on North Charles Street in Towson. Hoover pose before advertisements for the garage, United States Tires and Goodyear Tires as well as other products of interest.

Koenig's Garage on Reisterstown Road. Formerly the site of the Fisher Tavern, Frank P. Goodwin bought this property in 1887 and built a livery stable with the distinctive clock tower seen here. He used the second floor as a community hall, also known as Reisterstown's first movie parlor. From 1890 to 1896, Franklin High School held its commencements in this hall. In 1940, E.R. Koenig replaced the Goodwin house next door with an Acme market and used the livery stable as a filling station. The community hall above it became apartments. The bell and clock tower were later moved to the Masonic Temple on Main Street.

A gas station of the Shriver Oil Company on 29 West Chase Street, according to the 1926 Polk's City Directory. Around the corner at left middle distance, is a sign for the Pig 'N Whistle Luncheon Room. A cloth-capped man stands in the doorway; three two pump gas dispensers are spread across sections of the street level façade. The station offered free crankcase, oil, and water service.
