The Baltimore County Police Station housing the Towson Precinct fronted onto Washington Avenue. The south side of the station is seen in the middle of this photograph. The John C. Greiner Company was the consulting engineers for the project.

It became Busicks in the early 20th century and then for many years was the Marylander Restaurant. For a short time in the 1960s it held the relocated Asbill Pharmacy. In this view the site has been cleared for temporary parking before construction of the Towson Commons complex.

Shows a two story clapboard house with a porch. The windows are shuttered. Fretwork ornamentation of the supports of the porch columns suggests late 19th or very early 20th century construction. No sidewalk.

The City's conservatory, or "Palm House," designed and built by George A. Frederick in 1888. It is flanked by green houses and tennis courts at Druid Hill Park. It remains in 2006 a joyous, tranquil place.
