TOPIC: Aerial Views - Alberton/Daniels

Description: The damage to the cotton duck mill at Daniels, formerly called Alberton, caused by tropical storm Agnes. Debris swept down by the flood on the Patapsco River jammed at the railroad bridge, forcing a lake-like spill around the mill. The C.R. Daniels firm relocated after the disaster. The remains of Alberton/Daniels are on the Patapsco River(the Baltimore County line),one mile north of Interstate 70 bridge.
